Marambert, has dedicated her whole life to natural dyeing. She belongs
to an association, called "Nuances de plantes" dedicated to vegetable
dyeing in Belgium.
Extracting a colour from a plant to dye or make
pigments is an ancestral knowledge that was lost with the arrival of
chemical dyes in the 19th century.
I am fascinated by the idea of creating my own colours with natural plants through chemical reactions."
